Turnip is a hilarious mix of a duck, a vegetable. His mannerisms and animations resemble Frog from Chrono Trigger, in another nod to that famous character. to get him use either the Ice Gun or Ive Breath on the dark patch of ground in Hermit's Hideout (Another World). With Poshul in your party, go to that same patch of ground in Hermit's Hideout (Home World) and he'll dig up Turnip.

Starky will initially appears as Mega-Starky, upon arriving in Sky dragon Isle in Home World, Serge must fight Starky in Lynx body. Once defeated he will shrink to his original form and try to steal the Star Fragment, he will then tags along with Serge in the hopes of being able to find his spaceship and return home.

The incubator machine is found by taking the elevator down, instead of up, which would lead to the part of the fort found in the dream sequence. As soon as he is hatched, he will join with Serge.

She then join Serge after beating Madame Pentapus and freeing her in the cage. If you choose not to save Kid, Razzly is not available. There is only an empty cage in Madame Pentapus's lair, indicating that Razzly has already been eaten.

Sprigg used to live in the real world, but by some accident ended up in the Dimensional Vortex, with no way out. She's so thrilled to finally get a chance to return to real life that she happily tags along with Serge. Sprigg can turn into one of many different enemies. Her repertoire grows if she kills another type of enemy. Or, if another character wears a Forget-me-not Pot, that character can act as Sprigg and add the enemies he/she kills to the list. That character or Sprigg must give the killing blow, but they can use an Element to do so. Sprigg must be in her normal form for the monster to be added. Additionally, monsters that Sprigg has Doppelganged can be used against Janice in the Grand Slam battles on board the S.S. Zelbess, giving the player an advantage over their obviously cheating opponent.
